What we collect

• Account info: email address and (optionally) display name.
• Comic intake: the child's first name, age, and interests you enter to generate the comic.
• Payment metadata: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Basic usage logs: standard server logs (IP, browser, timestamps) to keep the service running and secure.

What we don't collect

• No photos of children.
• No last names, addresses, or school information about children.
• No precise location data.
• No selling of any personal data to third parties.

How we use data

We use your information to generate your comics, save them to your library, process payments, send you order-related email, and improve the service. We do not use children's intake details to train third-party AI models.

Service providers

We share data only with providers we need to run the service: Stripe (payments), our cloud database and storage provider (account data and comics), and our AI gateway (story and image generation). Each provider is bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

Children's privacy

Made For Me Comics is intended for adults purchasing comics for or with kids. Accounts are for adults (18+). We collect the minimum information needed about a child to generate their comic. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention & deletion

We keep your account data and comics until you ask us to delete them. To delete your account or specific comics, email hello@madeformecomics.com from the email on your account.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember in-progress comics. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
